May 7, 2021 – (San Antonio, TX) – Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) is proud to share that its Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise (CRE) Lessons Learned team has been recognized by Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, Commander, United States Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command, for its sustained superior efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. While serving U.S. Army North (USANORTH) as part of a task order awarded by the Army Enterprise Training Services (ETSC), this section collected, analyzed, synthesized, and produced after action reviews, reports, and input regarding USARNORTH lessons and best practices in support of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. over the past fourteen months. This group simultaneously continued its support to the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Corrective Action Programs, the Center for Army Lessons Learned, and the USARNORTH Plans Directorate in all aspects of the USARNORTH mission set, including Homeland Defense, Defense Support of Civil Authorities, and Security Cooperation in the USNORTHCOM Area of Responsibility.
This Lessons Learned section reports to Richard Madrid, ECS Vice President of Global Services, and includes section chief, Mark Traylor and ECS team members, Joe Stawick and Jeff Cushing.
