Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) has announced that Craig Fournier is the organization’s newest project manager. He will lead the company’s One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) team.
A retired Army colonel, Fournier brings over 20 years of distinguished service from the air defense artillery and acquisitions fields, as well as experience as a project manager for various agencies.
“We’re excited to welcome Craig to our ECS family, as we continue to support the needs of our warfighters. His expertise and dedication will be an asset to this project and our firm,” said Waymon Armstrong, CEO of ECS.
After enlisting in the Connecticut Army National Guard in 1990, Fournier received his commission as a second lieutenant through Officer Candidate School in 1998. He is dual-branched as a graduate of the Air Defense Artillery and Chemical Officer Basic Courses. His military career has prepared him for various command and staff assignments through training received at Force Management Officer Qualification Course, the Air Force Joint Space Fundamentals Course, and Command and General Staff Course, among others.
“Craig’s background has a wide range, from serving as chief of staff to the deputy commanding general at U.S. Army Futures Command, to managing field operations at Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation,” Armstrong said. “He’s an experienced soldier who knows how to navigate complex procurement efforts and facilitate strategic partnerships to achieve an organization’s goals. Craig’s a great fit for ECS and OneSAF and we look forward to seeing him in action.”
Fournier has a master’s in engineering/industrial management from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s in microbiology from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a master’s in international relations and national security studies from the U.S. Army War College, as well as executive-level certifications from the Defense Acquisition University.
