August 10, 2022 – (Orlando, FL): Mick Golson, Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) President, is pleased to announce that Teresa Sturges, ECS Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has been selected as one of the twenty C-Level Award honorees by the Orlando Business Journal. Sturges was nominated by ECS CEO, Waymon Armstrong, based on her excellent leadership qualities and the impact her work has had on the firm, the industry, and our community. The 2022 C-Suite Award honorees will be recognized at a luncheon on October 20.

Sturges has been with ECS since 2014, starting as controller and serving as senior vice president of finance and administration before being promoted to CFO earlier this year. She combines her experience in accounting, process improvement, and customer service to ensure that all financial and management processes are followed to ensure positive results for clients, staff, and the company. Sturges began her career in customer service and understands the importance of meeting clients’ needs. She utilizes her strong regional, technical, and industry connections to unify and enhance the entire organization.
Golson adds: “As ECS celebrates our 25th year delivering technology and training solutions to military, frontline workers, and other commercial clients, Teresa’s analytical approach to best practices will lead us into the next level of innovation and growth. Her steady approach to growing our investments and our team has placed ECS in a sound and strong financial position.”
Sturges volunteers at her children’s schools and is an avid sports mom. Most weekends, she can be seen cheering on her daughter at soccer or horseback riding and her son at baseball or football. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida and an MBA in management from Rollins College – Crummer Graduate School of Business.
