ECS expands its presence at the 2006 Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando Florida. Located in booth 2209, across from the US Army PEOSTRI, ECS is showcasing new products, enabling technologies and research focused on advancing the state of the art for game-based learning and simulation environments, mobile learning technologies and enterprise learning architectures. Highlights of the show include:

  • The official Civil Support TeamTrainer (CSTT) version 1.0 is now available. The CSTT system is currently being deployed to all 55 CSTs across the county, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.

  • The Beta version of the TC3 simulation is being released to the Army Medical Department Center & School's Department of Combat Medic Training.

  • ECS engineers co-authored the paper entitled "Integrating Simulations into Sharable Content Object Reference Model Learning Environments" to provide a synopsis of best practices and lessons learned in adding assessment and reporting capabilities to the Delta3D game engine.

  • ECS helps to make the I/ITSEC Serious Games Challenge a booming success. Over the past year, ECS engineers have provided subject matter expertise and helped judge applications submitted to the Challenge.

  • ECS products are also being shown in the US Army RDECOM booth, the US Naval Education & Training booth, AT&T Government Solutions booth and the Soar Technology booth.
