ECS demonstrated Intelligent Tutoring capabilities integrated into courseware powered by commercial gaming technology at the Joint ADL Co Laboratory's Implementation Fest on August 18th. The Civil Support Team Trainer (CSTT) being developed by ECS makes use of a virtual mentor that has the ability to track and evaluate each student through a simulated scenario. The mentor can then determine appropriate methods of remediation. This demonstration allowed members of the ADL community to see the The CSTT is built around the "Gamebryo" engine developed by Numeric Designs Ltd. (NDL)
