ECS is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Position: Simulation Software Engineer

ECS is looking for a simulation software engineer to join our team to create cutting edge, game-based learning applications. Your main tasks will focus on your strengths or previous experience, with subtasks spread across multiple disciplines to promote shared knowledge. You will also be expected to help create or maintain documentation of the engine and/or each application. Interested applicants should have at least 2 years of hands-on, programming experience and the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5 years equivilant experience
  • A strong ability to solve problems and code solutions in C and C++
  • Experience with 3-D Graphics and Simulation technologies
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of a 3-D Game Engine pipeline
  • An ability to communicate with digital artists
  • Knowledge of Networking, Databases, and Web Technologies
  • Knowledge of Lua and Actionscript a plus

Position: Digital Artist

ECS is looking for a talented digital artist to work on our next generation, game-based learning applications. The ideal candidate will be able to both conceptualize and build a wide variety of game content. 3D modeling skills (3D Max), texture creation and drawing skills are required. Interested applicants should have at least two years of hands-on, industry experience and the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Fine Art, Animation, or related field
  • Must demonstrate efficient low-polygon modeling skills
  • Must exhibit strong image editing, digital painting, and texture mapping skills
  • Strong proficiency in 3DS Max (version 7 +), Photoshop and Pixologic's zBrush
  • An ability to communicate and interface effectively with programmers and other artists
  • Strong animation and character rigging skills are a plus
  • Strong traditional drawing skills a plus
